HipsterHugs
began in September 2005. When I became Max's mom in September 2004,
I quickly realized that I didn't want to return to my corporate life
on Wall Street. I also realized that really cute clothes were hard
to find. I wanted unique items; items that suited my new young spirited
little boy.
As a result I began making shirts for Max; iron-ons, appliques,
you name it. The more shirts I made for him, the more attention they
received. I learned that everyone appreciates unique things….after
all, we're moms.
After several months (and countless orders), I knew that this was
going to be the beginning of something new and exciting. So, I bought a sewing machine, took
some lessons and the rest is history.
